Coming back to the game after quite awhile I decided to start fresh and run through the initial 'tutorial' missions known as Career Agents.
They haven't really changed since I last played and ran through them, but it was still enjoyable to do and is still a massive boost to your early economy.
I did them in the following order (following the recommended mission order on EVE University) and for most part if I kept most of what was given to me I could instant complete some of the later missions:
- Explorer
- Enforcer
- Soldier of Fortune
- Industrialist - Entrepreneur
- Industrialist - Producer
I did have to buy some things directly from the station my career agents were based out of and most of them were cheap, but if not you can always go check your local trade hub (in my case it's Jita 4-4).
Managed to get about 10 million ISK, a bunch of different ships and lots of stuff in inventory hanger after completing all the career agents. I personally ended up selling most of the ships and stuff in my hanger and loading up one of the Badger's I got and transporting all the junk to Jita and selling it there to get another little of ISK (which I ended up using to buy and fit a Kestrel for running security missions).
All in all I say whether you are brand new or starting up an alt I recommend doing the career agents.
