Dabbling in Industry

 

I'm not a big player in the industry gameplay and only recently started doing small time stuff on the side from my usual activity. I mainly started to help out my alliance a little bit and aimed my industry related stuff towards the new players in the alliance.

I am not out here building capitals or really anything higher than cruiser at the moment. My main focus has been building Heron (Caldari exploration frigate) and Vexor (Gallente drone cruiser) as both are cheap to produce and cheap for a new player to buy and replace.

I haven't been building too many of them though, as I am limited (being an Alpha clone) to transport ships I can use currently. I'm using an Iteron Mark V to transport the ships, and a Kryos to move the minerals I purchase to build stuff with. It's not ideal and I could probably move more as an Omega, but as I said this is nothing more than a side hobby to help my alliance out more than just paying taxes from ratting.

While I'm not out here being a super elite industry person and being able to push out hundreds of ships, I still like what I do and I enjoy just dabbling in industry when I can. I am also not one to remember when my jobs will finish, so will usually just deliver them the next day (or approximately when they finish) and buy more minerals and blueprints (depending on availability of the blueprints).

As for profits, I am not sure if I am turning a profit or not but it doesn't really bother me if I am taking a small loss each time as I am helping the greater good and I can definitely make up the loss from all the taxes involved pretty easily.
