EVE Online has been around for a very long time, having been released way back in May 2003. I first learned about the game like 3 or 4 years before it went free to play noticing someone playing it on Steam.
I didn't get around to actually playing until about a week after free to play came around and I was instantly hooked. EVE Online quickly became an escape from reality for me and I really enjoyed the player driven aspect of the game.
That being said, EVE Online these days is relatively easier to get into compared to back in the early days of the game (according from what I have read and heard).
Much like World of Warcraft in which I wish I could go back in time to the very first days to see and experience everything for the first time, I wish I could do the same for EVE Online.
I would love to go back in time and play the early days of EVE and experience New Eden and all the challenges and rage inducing mechanics that existed back then.
It would also be really fun to also be able to go back in time to when EVE was hitting it's all time peak online counts. Would love to see what almost 70k online looked like compared to ~35k peak these days.
